The Workshop Tinkerer is one of two NPC Traders that spawns in the Iceika Dimension at night. Workshop Tinkerers spawn in naturally generating houses that spawn all over the Iceika Dimension. They have 1000 Health (500 hearts), and will not be provoked if attacked. He can "tinker" your weapons into more powerful variants if you trade snowflakes with him. Trading with the Workshop Tinkerer gets you the Achievement "A Lil' Tinkerin'".
Finding the Workshop Tinkerer[]
The Workshop Tinkerer is an extremely easy mob to find. Houses in the Iceika spawn almost everywhere, and in them, will be a Workshop Tinkerer and a Workshop Merchant. However, they may tend to wander away from the house, so it is best to barricade them against a wall, so they cannot escape into the open, where dangerous mobs can spawn.
