I know this wiki AND the mod are both pretty old, but this wiki is slighly out of date. like the fact that there is no page for Mortum's Sorcerer. could this be fixed soon? sorry if i sound rude at all.
this might seem rude but i would like it if you could change the color of the text in the boxes under the big blue download button on the main page as reading light grey on slightly darker grey hurts my eyes
Yo, tr! It's been a while, mate. I've been on a 100% hiatus from Minecraft for a good year, so that explains why I haven't been around. However, seeing as I'm making a new mod heavily inspired by Divine, would i the fine by you if I got my admin powers here back?
Reasoning is that while I'm crafting a new Wikia for my mod, I could revamp some of the old stuff here on the Divine wikia.
If not, that's fine; my mod will be competition anyway :P,
Haha, I recently got back to MC as well! Been playing Single Player IndustrialCraft 2 for awhile this week and was going to work on my new wiki http://modded-minecraft.wikia.com/, but yeah, I don't know why you didn't have your admin powers anymore. I'll just rerank you back in.
Most urgent issue: The news says 1.6.2 beta just came out, when 1.7.10 full version came out just recently. The link leads to AoA/Nevermine instead of the DRPG thread.
Second: I don't know how, but there should be some sort of new banner. The current one displays two Nevermine mobs (the automaton and the bouncer) and a weird golem mob (between the eternal archer and cadillion) that I've never seen before.
Also, the "future updates" should be changed, right now it says "Fixing many of the bugs in the Vethea" but the newest version fixes most of the bugs.
Finally, that "The Main Page Has Been Revamped" uses caps for each word in the sentence, which isn't exactly very appealing.
Oh, also you should go through the Candidates for Deletion, there are some I added because they're for changes that aren't coming but there are also some that are just plain spammy (if that's even a word).
There's a new official one (it's at http://www.divinerpg.org/wiki/Main_Page). Alternatively you could go to the MCF thread and download it, the downloads page (also divinerpg.org) links to the wiki.
I think that, if anything, you should at least fix the link to the DRPG download which now links to AoA's thread and link it to the new thread, because people still visit this wiki on occasion and follow the link. Also many of them probably don't know that 126.96.36.199 is out yet.
Yeah, i'll update that. Also, I was glimpsing at the wiki, and some of the pages on the wiki seem to copy the same wikitext and images as our site (ex. the weapons site uses the same images as this site, as you can see the bows except for the removed twilight bow is in sync in animation).
Well, the main "1.6.2 beta is out" link is still there and still leads to Nevermine/AoA, and the wiki itself is extremely outdated and people go to the wiki for info when parts of it are not for 1.7.10. That last problem can really only be fixed by having lots of editors or a few really active editors, so it may have to wait...
I'm not sure when I even plan to start developing it, since the official wiki is up and it's actually open for public editing.
But one thing I know I need is...a new icon (as in, the "DivineRPG" image in the top left of the wiki that leads to the main page). My current one is just a resized version of text Xolova used in his forum post, and it didn't go through well when I learned I had to resize it to specific dimensions...
But I guess he did pick himself up, since he's added much more new content lately.
Also, I worked on both the Divine-RPG Wiki and the Wikia at the same time, both official Wiki Developers, and we were released around the same time. The Wikia got WAY more web traffic than the official Wiki.
They said they can't put a time of completion on the mod, but it should come out sooner or later. That "This mod has been DISCONTINUED" sign scared everyone away, and the people who didn't get scared away just got bored of waiting for the mod to update.
It's best to leave it to rot, but if there really is hope, and especially with hearing about the new testings, along with the offical DRPG wiki down, it'd be nice to renovate this place again. Though, all the mods are inactive now, soo...
Hey there. Are you planning to release any updates on DivineRPG? I'm sure most of the DivineRPG lovers out there want it updated to the latest version even if no new stuff comes out because of the new stuff in vanilla and the compatibility of the latest mods. I really like the mod as well and I would love to see it always updated. Just sayin :P
