Kobblins were added in 1.4.1. They will spawn in plains or forest biomes in the Overworld. Although they spawn on the ground, they quickly find a grass block to replace. If the block is stepped on, the Kobblin will attack. Kobblins will drop Grass Blocks and Terran Shards upon death.
