Ice Stones can be obtained from two methods. They can be dropped from Frosts and Glacons or can be crafted from 9 Ice Shards. They are used to craft the Angelic Armor, Frozen Armor, Frost Cannon, Frost Sword and Frost Pumpkin.

Farming
It is quite easy to gather a large amount of Ice Stones by going to the Taiga and Tundra. Every night, a few Frosts will spawn. Frosts are really weak mobs that can be killed in 2 hits with an enchanted Eden Blade. They attack by shooting balls of fire which will burn down a large number of trees. When killed, they drop a few Ice Stones and Ice Shards. So when you want Ice Stones, just go kill Frosts.
